Trixon Luxus Blue Croco kit with Snare Drum

Rarely available 1960’s blue croco Trixon Luxus kit with snare drum included.

Condition and details:-

Bass drum – White gaskets, badge missing but could be replaced. Wrap is in good condition with a only a few minor blemishes, mostly on the hoop inlays. Light pitting to chrome lugs but would clean up very well.

Mounted Tom – black gaskets, wrap in excellent condition. Hoops and lugs have light pitting but would clean up very well. Internal dampers present and correct. Gold ‘Made in Germany’ sticker present. Remo Ambassador Fibreskyn 3 to batter in as new condition. All original tension rods and hoops.

Floor tom – Wrap in excellent condition with Trixon badge and gold ‘Made in Germany’ badge present. White gaskets. Internal damper and original knob present and working. Again, chrome is mildly pitted but would clean up very well. As new Remo Ambassador Fibreskyn 3 to batter side. Original hoops and all tension rods. All three legs and leg brackets are original.

Snare drum – original Trixon snare wires in great condition. Wrap is good but does have some minor bubbling and a few very small nicks. Badge missing but can be replaced. Black gaskets. Internal damper present and correct. Snare throw is original and working. Not so much pitting to the chrome hoops and lugs but there is a little chrome flaking to the top on one side, presumably from the result of rim shots.

Overall this is in excellent shape but do remember it is circa 50 years old so not brand new!! The tom arm is not present – the snare stand in the photos is not included.
